As you can tell from the many different colours I keep, the Wyandotte Bantam
is one of my favourite breeds.
My Wyandotte Bantams have all been sourced from Exhibition Lines and I have enjoyed success this year at
local showing.
Easy to keep with superb laying capacity and excellent broody skills if
you so desire. They are clean legged (non feathered legs) meaning they are more tolerant of slighty damper soil conditions
than some of the other breeds.
Wyandottes should have a yellow leg colour, this can be encouraged by running them on grass and also feeding
maize. As the birds get older the leg colour can fade.
Docile and easy to train, they are to be recommended for beginners and experienced alike.
Available in such a vast array of colours, you cannot get bored of them easily!
